Ingredients:

  • Chocolate kisses 24
  • peanut butter 4 tbsp
  • Shortening ¼ cup
  • Egg 1 beaten
  • Milk 1 tbsp
    Salt ¼ tsp
  • Vanilla ½ tsp
  • Brown sugar 3 tbsp heaped
  • Granulated sugar 3 tbsp
  • Flour ¾ cup
  • Baking soda ½ tsp
  • Extra sugar to roll

Method:

Heat oven to 180 d, beat shortening and peanut butter on medium speed till creamy, add both the sugars and beat until fluffy, add milk, egg and vanilla, beat, add sieved flour, soda mixture with salt gradually to the peanut butter mixture, shape into 1 inch balls, roll in extra sugar, place on un-greased cookie sheet, bake for 10 mins or until light brown, immediately press a kisses chocolate into center of each cookie, cookies will crack around edges, remove to wire rack and cool.

Ingredients:

  • Kofta 1packet
  • Oil for frying

Ingredients for karhai masala:

  • Tomatoes ½ kg about 5
  • Green chilies 8
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 ½ tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Crushed cumin 1 ½ tsp
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Method for masala:
Heat oil add whole tomatoes, cover for 10 mins, remove skin from tomatoes and fry well, add all the rest with ¼ cup water, fry well, add koftas, leave it on dum, lastly add chopped coriander and green chilies, serve with nan.

Method for kofta:

Fry kofta and set aside

Ingredients:

  • Chicken boneless leg sliced 300 gm
  • Allspice ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Crushed coriander 1 ½ tsp
  • Poppy seeds grinded 1 tsp
  • Roasted & crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Pita bread 4
  • Prepared hummus ½ cup
  • Pickled cucumber sliced as required
  • Jalapeno pepper sliced as required
  • Carrot ½ julienne
  • Olives as required
  • Olive oil as required

Ingredients for sauce:

  • Tahini 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp

Method for sauce:
Mix together tahini and yogurt.

Method for shawarma roll:
Marinate chicken leg with all the given ingredients. Heat pita bread, spread with prepared sauce, chicken, hummus and all veggies, close tightly, serve wrapped in butter paper.
